The Details
Jen and Chris celebrated their love with a beautiful wedding at Lake Natoma Inn, surrounded by family, friends, and plenty of heartfelt moments.
The bride looked radiant in her gown from Moments Made Bridal in Bluffdale, Utah, while Chris looked sharp in his suit from Men’s Wearhouse. Jen’s engagement ring came from Diamond Domain, and Chris’s ring was crafted by Bourbon Barrel Rings, a unique symbol of their story. The gorgeous floral arrangements were created by Mary Beth at The Blossom Shop, while the sweet centerpiece of the day—a stunning cake—was baked by Richard Moore of Flourless Bakery. Guests danced the night away thanks to DJ Gee of GDJ Entertainment.
How did they meet?
The bride and groom met on the Bumble dating app. I loved his voice and his attentiveness, but I was skeptical. Early on, I told Chris I was 97% sure he was NOT my guy!
She knew Chris was the one because she had a lot of peaceful feelings about Chris since a month after they first met in person. She really knew he was "the one" on Valentines Day 2025. Her bosom was burning like never before, and she knew!
What Makes this Wedding Special
The bride wanted her kids to be a part of the wedding as much as possible. Her daughter is the flower girl, her youngest son is the ring boy, and her oldest son walked her down the isle. She wanted all of her 4 boys to walk her down, but figured that would look a little silly. Chris is really pleased one of his best friends is officiating. They met in 7th grade.
To Friends & Family
The advice the bride would give to other couples who are planning their wedding is to keep it as simple as possible, and try not to let all the shiny pretty things get in the way of your love for each other.
A message she has for all her friends and family:
“I would say, thank you so very much for your love and support! Chris makes me so happy, and I love him with all of my heart!”
